Swannaton Kitchen, Dartmouth Devon

Undertaken as part of an extensive house refurbishment project in Dartmouth, this custom kitchen space was created around the clients brief to design a large hosting space with heavy industrial & reclaimed tones. As part of that brief we removed the existing oak flooring from the house, machined & processed the oak into heavy constructional veneers with a bandsaw & brush textured finish. These veneers were then pressed & formed to create the kitchen fronts, fascias & detailing throughout. The heavily charactered oak veneers were complimented by hand cast concrete worktops and a cantilevered table space made from street felled, London oak. A separate bar & coffee area added to this sprawling kitchen space. Miele appliances were used throughout the kitchen.
