What Our Clients Say

    Cat Barber, Bespoke Kitchen

“Luke listened and delivered a beautiful room for us.

As a home owner my husband wanted a kitchen that didn't look like a kitchen! As a family we wanted a room that we could all hang out in, cook, work and play in, sometimes alone but sometimes altogether. As a cook I wanted a kitchen that functioned well and was easy to be in. Overall we wanted a beautiful piece of furniture.

Luke managed to achieve all of the above and somehow the end result is greater than the sum of the parts, amazing.

We all love the space, and have different favourite aspects of it. Just beautiful, functional, fun and delivered with a gracious smile and the most enormous amount of care. Thank you Luke!”

    Nella McNabb, Bespoke Kitchen

“Luke is a real artisan. His work is meticulous and he's a creative thinker so you can brainstorm with him and he will let you know what will work and what won't work.

All this means that we transformed a dingy, dark kitchen into a truly stunning open plan kitchen space that is harmonious and a pleasure to live in.

The materials he uses are top notch and our kitchen is now the highlight of our house.”

Sarah & Jonathan Smith, Bespoke Dressing Room

“Professional yet personal approach to our project.

We so enjoyed working with Luke on our dressing room. No detail was too small to consider and the end result has received so many compliments.

We are thrilled with both the aesthetic and the practicality of the design. The quality is superb.

Huge thanks to Luke who will be our first call on the next project we do.”

How it works

Some clients come to us with a clear idea of exactly what they want.

Others arrive with an awkward room or alcove, a handful of references or an architectural plan that still needs its joinery resolving.

We’re comfortable working either way.

For larger residential projects, we can also collaborate with your architect, interior designer, builder or other members of the project team to make sure the joinery sits successfully within the wider scheme.

Modern kitchen with black cabinets, wooden shelving, a white countertop, and small appliances, including a toaster, cezve, and oven; a yellow pitcher with eye pattern on the shelf, and a plate with pomegranates on the counter.

You’ll walk away with fitted furniture that becomes a highlight of your home — as well as being exceptionally functional.

Every home & project is unique, but our process is consistent

  • Initial enquiry

Tell us a little about your project, the space, what you're hoping to create and where you're based.

Plans, reference imagery, architectural drawings or even early ideas are useful at this stage.

  • Discuss the brief

We'll talk through the project requirements, practical considerations, desired finish, timings and budget.

This is also where we can begin identifying any details that need resolving before the design develops.

  • Design

The project is refined through the design stage, working through dimensions, materials, finishes, construction details and any coordination required with your architect, designer or contractor.

Once everything is agreed, the final design is signed off for manufacture.

  • Manufacture

Your bespoke furniture and/or joinery is made in our Devon workshop (located near Dartmouth), with each element fabricated and finished specifically for the project.

  • Installation

Finally, the completed joinery is delivered and installed on site, bringing all of those earlier decisions together in the finished space.
